Before Willie Kruger joined the Herholdt’s tribe, he was living the student life, studying financial planning law (SFPL) in which he achieved a postgraduate degree from the University of the Free State.
He started his journey with Herholdt’s in September 2020 as a dynamic and hardworking sales executive and quickly made a name for himself. In August 2022 he was appointed as the sales manager of the Bloemfontein branch.
His job includes the following:
- Setting sales goals and individual targets for the sales team.
- Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
- Give excellent customer service.
- Arrange and ensure ongoing training for the sales team.
- Manage and develop a strong and dynamic team.

Fun Fact
Willie represented Free State Hockey since his school days. During his student years, he was a part-time hockey coach, representing the UFS first team and Free State men’s team. If hockey taught him anything, it is that you miss 100% of the shots you do not take.
