Herholdt's recently conducted a customer survey with a difference, pledging to donate R50 for every survey completed. Customers eagerly participated, recognizing the opportunity to voice their opinions and contribute to a worthy cause, resulting in 400 completed surveys, adding to a generous donation of R20 000.

After careful consideration, the funds were donated to OWL Caring for Children, an organization dedicated to providing essential support and care to special needs and underprivileged children.
 

OWL Caring for Children

Leaving the corporate world to pursue their passion for helping others, sisters Monika and Barbara Wassermeier started OWL Learning Centre in 2016. Afterward, they registered OWL Caring for Children NPC to raise funds, enhance the quality of life, and empower families with special needs children. In 2023, they opened the OWL Recreation Centre for young adults with special needs.

Anic Robbertse, Herholdt's Marketing Manager, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and emphasized the importance of giving back to the community. As the company continues its journey of growth and innovation, initiatives like these serve as reminders of the power of collective action and the potential for businesses to be forces for good in their communities.
