Why should I become a Herholdt’s Premium Partner?
The PREMIUM PARTNER PROGRAMME is designed to offer you benefits, support and opportunities to grow your business with us. The programme is structured into different tiers, each with a range of exclusive advantages and benefits, including:

The programme consists of 5 Tiers — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Subject to the successful approval of their application, all new Members will be placed in the Bronze Tier. As you continue to meet certain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), you will have the opportunity to move up to higher tiers, unlocking additional rewards and resources designed to help you thrive.
Tier upgrades will only be considered on an annual basis, subject to the Member meeting certain criteria, which will be assessed and approved at the sole discretion of Herholdt’s Group.
Requirements to become a Herholdt’s Premium Partner
- The Applicant must be older than 18 years of age and be a South African Resident, and their business must be operative within South Africa.
- The Applicant must have an Active Herholdt’s Account in good standing for a period of 6 (SIX) months.
- The Applicant must be in operation for more than 1 (ONE) year and must have a good track record, trading history, and consistent performance.
- Applicants must have at least 1 (ONE) qualified installation electrician in their team who is registered with the relevant authorities and duly authorised to administer electrical installations in accordance with good industry practice.
- Applicants must be registered with the Department of Labour and adhere to the applicable local and national regulations, and must provide proof of compliance with these standards when requested.
- The Applicant’s installations must meet the quality standards of Herholdt’s Group, good industry practice and standards, as well as the South African National Standards (“SANS”) safety regulations and any other applicable industry standards, regulations or legislation.
- Applicants must provide at least 3 (THREE) existing reference sites showcasing their work to verify quality and customer satisfaction with their application.
- Applicants must hold appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance coverage. Proof of such insurance must be provided with your application.
- Applicants must commit to ongoing training and certification on Herholdt’s Group approved products and technologies.
How do I apply?
The first step to becoming a Herholdt’s Premium Partner is by completing the application form below. After your application has been submitted, it will be evaluated by Herholdt’s Group Management, who will upon finalisation of the evaluation let you know whether your application has been approved or denied.
Acceptance as a Member into the Herholdt’s Premium Partner Programme is at the sole discretion of Herholdt’s Group Management, who reserves the right to decline an applicant’s application for whatsoever reason.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure you have the following documents / photos ready to upload with your application, as submission will not be possible without them:
- Wireman’s Licence.
- Electrical Contractors Registration.
- Proof of public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
- Proof of registration with the Department of Labour and National Bargaining Council for Electrical Industry (NBCEI) where applicable.
- Photographs, testimonials from customers and contact details of customers from 3 (THREE) previous sites / installations completed.
